Gold Rush Shel Be My Teddy Bear (Teddy) was our first experience
with a Show Golden. I have learned first hand the difference that a
quality pedigree full of champions makes! As a puppy, Teddy was
chosen from a litter of 6 males and 4 females as the best in show
potential. His is the perfect Golden personality. He would rather be
with his people than with other dogs. He did not have to be taught to
walk on a leash and never did jump on us, even as a puppy. He has
never been destructive and is very affectionate (that male goldens
are known for). This is the personality that we look for in our goldens.
Always ready to chase a ball, Teddy is fun-loving, energetic, and a
cool go-with-the-flow kind of guy. He has completed his CGC title &
Therapy Dog Test for the purpose of sharing his golden love with
long-term care patients. Jim & Teddy make a great team! All of our
girls also have excellent pedigrees behind them. This combination of
a great background on both Sire and Dam sides is consistent in
producing pups with great health and temperment. All of our dogs are
directly from some of the most awarded dogs in the country including
many Hall of Fame dogs.

We think that a golden retriever is the perfect companion to share all
of life with. Once you have experienced a well-bred golden, you will
always want one in your home. They love your fun, energetic play
whether you enjoy the mountains or the beach. Your golden will be
ready to "Go." They also adjust well to quiet evenings by the fire.
Your golden will be happy to "Stay." Always by your side, your golden
will enhance every aspect of your life and become an irreplaceable
member of your family.

Our dogs are a labor of love for ALL of us. As a Golden Retriever
Breeder, Heritage Rock Goldens is focused on Improving the Golden
Breed and uniting special loving homes with extra special affectionate
goldens. We have planned our breeding program around the best in
genetic soundness and breed standard in temperament and
conformation that can be found. Our dogs are part of our family and
spend their days loving my children, lounging in the sun, playing with
balls, soaking in lots of love from our family, and occasionally
begging in the kitchen. All puppies are born in our home and raised
with our children's daily handling and attention. We have extended
Heritage Rock Golden family members from sea to shining sea with
some beyond.
